TDI Female Injector harness connector (1996-2002.5)

This fits all 1996 thru 2002.5 TDI vehicle harness connectors using the “Square” brown plug style on the #3 injector harness.

Below, is the conversion from a 1996-2002.5 to a new “D” shaped 2003 style plug.

Use a thinner style paper clip to compress the harness plug retention pins.

Gently slide the wire and seal from the housing, typically the wire will push out with the paperclip.

Slide the Purple locking tab fully to the left to allow insertion of the two harness connectors

Insert the two wires till they click, and then slide the locking frame back to the center locking the wires in place. The circuit is a simple DC (resistance type circuit) so polarity (wire position) is not critical for install.
