TDI Female Injector harness connector (2003)

This is the female connector for 2003 model TDI’s that use the “D” shaped plug style.

Below, is the conversion from a 1996-2002.5 to a new “D” shaped 2003 style plug.

Use a thinner style paper clip to compress the harness plug retention pins.

Gently slide the wire and seal from the housing, typically the wire will push out with the paperclip.

 

Slide the Purple locking tab fully to the left to allow insertion of the two harness connectors

 

Insert the two wires till they click, and then slide the locking frame back to the center locking the wires in place. The circuit is a simple DC (resistance type circuit) so polarity (wire position) is not critical for install.
